(maybe National Geographic will hire me ;)

Heading up to Gulu tomorrow and then Kitgum after that. This is where the real stuff starts so keep us in your prayers. I'm taking my Ugandan pastor friend Edgar up with me as well as a photographer who is willing to take pictures for Zion Project. We're expecting big things. We're staying at the Favor of God house like I stayed at last year where every morn you get roused to the wonderful sound of drums and Ugandans dancing in worship. And yes, I do get up for it :) They're a great organization. Check them out at
www.favorofgod.org

I'm excited. I reserved Zion Project's name in the registrar here in Uganda so I' m pumped no one can steal it now. :) I've got a letter we're going to be taking to local leaders to let them know about the project and have them sign on, so we really need favor with them big time.

Oh and send me some love on the comment line folks.

Sarita,

Persecution Project Foundation has been praying for your outreach for Christ on most mornings. May our Lord give you much favor in your dealings with the people of Uganda, and may He be exalted in all you do!

In Christ's Love,

Hi Sarita!

I tend to read your blog in spurts - so I read a lot at once. :) You are back now. I can smell and see and taste Africa in your writings. I can feel it in my own heart as I read your writings. I see such evidences of Gods grace at work in your life and around you as I hear you pen your heart of Africa.

I recently read this quote from Charles Spurgeon (one of my favorite dead guys), and wanted to share it with you. He has a way with words. I pray it encourages you as it encourages me. The Almighty God who provided for our greatest need of salvation is altogether sufficient and able. And I forget it every day as evidence of my unbelief that comes out daily. We all need to preach the gospel to ourselves daily.

“I will help you, says the Lord.” Isaiah 41:14

“This morning listen to the voice of the Lord Jesus speak, ‘I will help you. It is a small thing for me, your God, to help you. Consider what I have already done. What! Not help you! I bought you with My blood. What! Not help you! I died for you. Since I have done the greater, will I not do less? Your requests are nothing compared with what I am willing to give. You need much, but it is nothing for me to grant your needs. Help you? Fear not! I will help you.'"

I love you girl!
